About Us
Lowcountry Bible Church is a Christ‑centered, Scripture‑anchored fellowship devoted to “Worshipping Christ through the proclamation of His Word.” We believe the Bible is “the very Word of the living God to man” (2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20–21), fully inspired, entirely trustworthy, and the only infallible rule for faith and practice. Because God’s Word is living and active (Hebrews 4:12), the faithful exposition of Scripture stands at the heart of everything we do—from Sunday worship to discipleship, missions, and service.
We joyfully affirm the gospel of grace: salvation by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone (Ephesians 2:8–9; John 1:12). United by the Holy Spirit, we seek to glorify God by building up believers, cultivating genuine discipleship, and advancing the good news of Jesus Christ both locally and globally (Matthew 28:19–20; Acts 1:8). Our desire is that every believer would grow in Christlikeness, walk in holiness, and live out their faith with courage, humility, and love (Romans 12:1–2; 2 Corinthians 3:18).
Lowcountry Bible Church is an elder-led congregation. Our elders provide spiritual oversight through prayer and the ministry of the Word (Acts 6:4; 1 Timothy 3:2), shepherding the flock with humility and care (1 Peter 5:1–3). They guard the church’s doctrine, guide its mission, and lead the body in faithfulness to Scripture. Deacons and deaconesses serve alongside them, meeting practical needs and strengthening the unity and ministry of the church (Acts 6:1–7).
We are committed to being a community shaped by Scripture, strengthened by fellowship, and sent out with the gospel. Whether you are exploring Christianity, returning to church, or seeking a place to grow deeply in God’s Word, we welcome you to join us in worship.
